We are currently open Wednesday through to the following Tuesday lunchtime. We do not open in January. Last Year we hosted 41 different events.

CHELTENHAM YOUNG ARTIST 2026
Thank you to all those who entered CYA26, we appreciated all your amazing talents. We received a record 450 entries from 28 local Primary and Secondary schools. This year’s theme was ‘My favourite Things’. Over 600 visited the exhibition over the weekend with Edward Gillespie, Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire presenting the awards at the end of the Sunday.
463 votes were received for the public’s favourite work. The award went to ‘The Dog’ by Alfie.
Winner of the Primary School Section: ‘The Marine Girl’ by Olivia.
Best Primary School Entry – Charton Kings Junior (CYA Trophy)
Winner of the Secondary School Section: ‘Where My Heart Finds Its Sound’ by Arjun.
Best Secondary School Entry: Chosen Hill School (CYA Trophy)

Montpellier Gardens
The Gardens were originally developed in the early 1800’s and its centrepiece is the Bandstand.
Facing the Bandstand is the Proscenium Building where we now have our Gallery.

Access to the gallery
- There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the path between the tennis courts and the gallery.
- For exhibitors delivering their work, there may be a locked bollard to be removed at the gardens entrance. See link below for details.
- Unfortunately, there is no disabled parking for visitors in the gardens.
- Exhibitors should take care to design their exhibition layout with wheelchair use in mind.
